PORTAGE, MI — December 19, 2008 - Manatron, Inc., the nation’s leading provider of integrated, enterprise-level property solutions for state and local governments, announced that it has acquired the iDox Division of DoxTek, Inc., a provider of enterprise-wide electronic document solutions to local government. Manatron has been working as a business partner with DoxTek to provide Sales Disclosure and Personal Property solutions to its Indiana client base for the past three years and with this acquisition, Manatron strengthens its solutions for Indiana local government officials.
iDox software is currently used by more than 40 counties across the State of Indiana providing document imaging of Sales Disclosures with robust searching and reporting tools for data which is directly linked to Manatron’s CAMA software. In addition to this, iDox provides Indiana counties with an easy to use Personal Property component including the ability to track taxpayer history from year to year and generate “late lists” for calculating penalties and other necessary reports. It is currently the only Personal Property software certified by the Indiana State Department of Local Government Finance for use by counties in Indiana.
“Our six year partnership with Indiana county government has been enjoyable and fruitful. We are confident Manatron will continue to provide iDox clients with excellent service and support as well as better integration with Manatron’s products,” said David Taylor, Senior Vice President for Doxtek.
“Indiana is a very important market for Manatron, one in which we continually invest in, and have a rich heritage of supporting,” said Bill McKinzie, Manatron’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “Adding the iDox solution to our portfolio continues our unmatched investment on behalf of our clients.”
