KALAMAZOO, MI--(PR NEWSWIRE) — October 1, 2007 - Manatron, Inc. (NASDAQ: MANA) the leading provider of enterprise-level, integrated property tax solutions for state and local governments today announced a new partnership with FieldWorker Technologies to offer local government officials the ability to work remotely with Manatron’s property appraisal solutions. As a result of this partnership, filed appraisers will be able to develop their own data collection screens, which will tie directly to the Manatron database back at the office, thereby saving time and resources.

Recognizing the need for a more mobile application, Manatron and  FieldWorker have created an innovative appraisal solution that provides access to the most up-to-date property information possible. As an example, an appraiser in the field can take pictures of a property which immediately attach to the subject property in the database through a Blue Tooth connection. This integration seamlessly links the employee in the field with their home office, resulting in more accurate property records and tax rolls and most likely an increase in tax revenues.

“We are excited about the opportunity to partner with a quality company like FieldWorker Technologies,” said Early Stephens, Manatron’s Chief Technology and Marketing Officer. “This integration is a significant improvement in Manatron’s data collection functionality and will allow us to provide our customers with a more valuable appraisal solution.”

Peter Neve, President of FieldWorker Technologies commented, “We have spent the past three years looking for vertical market partners that share our concern for customer services and smart solutions. At Manatron, we have discovered a common culture and approach. As a result, we feel confident recommending our clients to the care of Manatron’s organization.”
