AUSTIN, TX — April 17, 2009 - Manatron, Inc. a global leader in providing integrated, enterprise-level property tax and records management solutions for state and local governments, announced that it has recently installed its industry-leading eRecording Services in three Texas County Clerk offices: Tom Green County, Bastrop County and Travis County.

In February, Bastrop County went live with eRecording as an additional module to their GRM Recorder application provided by Manatron. Travis County recently began using eRecording and has already recorded hundreds of documents with at least three different submission vendors. Tom Green County goes live on Manatron’s eRecording solution by April 20 and will mark the sixth installation of this product in Texas.

Each of Manatron’s eRecording customers have cited significant increases in volumes in 2009, with one of the largest Texas Counties confirming nearly 75% of their filings are coming through eRecording.

"Travis County is happy to introduce its new eRecording services," said Travis County Clerk, Dana Debeavoir. "We think businesses are going to love the convenience and 'green attitude' of eRecording.  No more will companies have to hire runners, find parking, and print reams of legal documents in order to file in the public record."

As workloads increase and many counties are challenged to do more with less, counties are looking for ways to streamline their office processes. By increasing office productivity and improving accuracy in the document management process, counties can reduce costs. With this in mind, Manatron offers a comprehensive, enterprise-level suite of solutions for records management and automated recording and indexing operations.

“eRecording has become a must-have for all Texas jurisdictions,” said Greg Effrein, Manatron VP of Records Management. “Counties are able to immediately realize increased efficiency and decreased resources – saving their constituents valuable tax dollars.”
