PORTAGE, MI — May 4, 2009 - Manatron, Inc. a global leader in providing integrated, enterprise-level property tax and records management solutions for state and local governments, announced that it has received a contract from Waukesha County, Wisconsin Register of Deeds Office for its GRM Records Management software solution – GRM Recorder – and related professional services. This will be Manatron’s first GRM Recorder installation in the state of Wisconsin.
This installation of GRM Recorder includes Land Records, military discharges, plats, vitals, Automated Indexing (AI), and eRecording. The .NET architecture and design of Manatron’s products also make integrating the Register of Deed’s system into other third party county-wide systems possible without the need for custom development effort.
As workloads increase and many counties are challenged to do more with less, counties are looking for ways to streamline their office processes. By increasing office productivity and improving accuracy in the document management process, counties can reduce costs related to fluctuating volume and increased public demand for document accessibility. Manatron GRM Recorder offers a comprehensive, enterprise-level solution for records management and automated recording and indexing operations.
"Waukesha County’s land records are currently maintained on computerized systems developed ‘in house’ during the 1970’s and 80’s,” said Jim Behrend, Waukesha County Register of Deeds. "After conversion to Manatron GRM Recorder, we will no longer be dependent on our internal information system staff for the maintenance of and changes to our land records system. In the future, the Manatron package will allow us to quickly update our systems, as laws and technology impacting the land records systems change."
