KALAMAZOO, MI — September 15, 2008 - Manatron, Inc. the nation’s leading provider of integrated, enterprise-level property tax solutions for state and local governments, announced it has received a contract from the City of Cape Town, South Africa for an upgrade to its GRM software solution, GRM CAMA, from the City’s current Sigma CAMA solution.
Cape Town became a Manatron customer through the company’s acquisition of Sigma Systems in August of 2007. Immediately following the acquisition, it became clear that the City was intrigued by the enhanced functionality provided by an upgrade to GRM CAMA.

This project will provide the City of Cape Town with a solution which meets the City’s technical requirements for all new systems. In addition, Manatron will provide an interface into Cape Town’s new ISIS project, allowing seamless transfer of ownership and mapping data for all of its 750,000 parcels. The consolidation of legacy data, while providing all existing technical features, will allow the City to work in a more efficient manner. The resulting lower total cost of ownership and the ability to perform regular supplementary valuations were additional key reasons for the City accepting the upgrade to GRM CAMA.
