2008 Manatron User Groups Conference
Thanks to everyone who attended the National User Group Meeting in New Orleans last month. The Records Management track had over 30 customers attend representing 15 counties, along with a large contingency from Manatron. This was a fantastic turnout for the first year! All the 2008 User Group slides are posted to the Manatron Connexion site.
If you have not used the site before, you will need to register to view the content. In addition to the User Group slides, all release notes and documentation are posted on Connexion and there is also a customer forum for asking questions, making suggestions and sharing ideas.
One of the big hits of the User Group was Wade’s Mobile Recording Kit (MRK) demonstration. Final specifications, service, and pricing have been defined for the MRK. Please contact your account manager for details.
Maintenance Releases
A2 version 2.3
Manatron Records Management is pleased to announced two rather significant software maintenance releases coming out this Fall and would like to highlight some of the key features of both.
New functionality for A2 version 2.3 includes:
• Additional batch and index queue management
• Processing of generic documents with user-defined fields, with the ability to cashier, scan, store, and retrieve any type of document (administrative, HR, and various other documents). Setting up generic documents will require configuration services by Manatron, so please contact your Account Manager for more information.
• New security paper tracking functionality.
• A user can now deliver completed export jobs to a pre-defined location using FTP.
• Five new Reports including receipt adjustment, user productivity, revenue by document type, real estate audit and TX marriage reports for tracking discounted licenses.
• A2 now provides a task type for editing both the image and the index of any document group at one time.
• Ability to define tax amounts based on jurisdiction, and calculate tax revenue based on consideration amount or tax amount.
• Export functionality is now available for Birth, Death, Marriage, and ASN
• And much more!
If you are already an A2 customer, your Account Manager will be contacting you soon (if not already) to coordinate scheduling this release. We will also send out release notes and information on the Manatron hosted remote demonstration sessions that covers new key features. If you are not an A2 customer, but would like more information on this product, please contact your Sales Representative or Account Manager.
Public Access (PA) version 2.7
New functionality for our web based Public Access (PA) version 2.7 for both Anthem and A2 customers includes:
• An on-board web configuration tool to allow changes to the site, for example the list of links, the initial welcome message, or localization pages like the FAQ or First Time User page.
• Users holding accounts have the ability to view activity reports, both summary and detail.
• Users holding accounts receive an activity summary at the end of a session which details all activity completed. This summary may be printed or downloaded for future reference.
• On-demand credit-card users or county customer account holders may use the shopping basket to indicate print jobs, then adjust/edit the basket prior to paying for them.
• Authorized account users may export their own Real Estate indexes and images with an FTP delivery.
• Online Marriage supports both English and Spanish input forms
Public Access version 2.7 will be available for scheduling for all Anthem and A2 customers starting this month. Please contact your Account Manager for more information on what this upgrade entails, including any third party software required.
