Update Manager

In today’s world of computers and the Internet we’ve grown accustom to instant access to information and automatic downloads of our PC software updates.  Anything and everything you can imagine is available with a simple click of a mouse.  From Books, Business Information, Maps, News, Pictures, Shopping, Social Groups, to Video and anything in-between, all you need to do is “Google” a key word and there it is.  For better or worse, we live in the Internet world. 

In order to make our iSeries (AS/400) Patriot application updates more efficient and timely we will soon be launching a new update method.   We call it “Update Manager”.  What is great about Update Manager is that you will no longer have to manually load our program updates.  With Update Manager your updates will be automatically loaded via the Internet every weekend.  Your applications will always be current with our latest release.  When an update effects your department, we can send you an email to inform you of the update, or you can view current and prior update letters on our web site.  Another great feature of Update Manager is it will be available to you at NO COST.  All that will be required is Internet access to your iSeries which most of you already have.  Our CountyWorks customers have been using Update Manager now for several years.  The benefits include…
