PORTAGE, MI — October 28, 2008 - Manatron, Inc. the nation’s leading provider of integrated, enterprise-level property solutions for state and local governments, announced that it has been awarded a contract from Palm Beach County, Florida for its GRM Tax property tax collection software solution. The contract includes related professional services for the Palm Beach County Tax Collector’s Office. Palm Beach County becomes Manatron’s 26th tax client in Florida and is the first county in the State to contract with the company for its GRM Tax software.
“The current tax software system we use was developed a number of years ago,” Anne Gannon, Palm Beach County Tax Collector stated. “Our client service needs and expectations have changed in the past few years and the system did not provide the highest standards of excellence necessary to achieve the ‘ungovernment experience’ our clients seek. After careful evaluation we chose Manatron because of their 20 years of service excellence in the collection of real and personal property taxes in the State of Florida.”
“We are very pleased Palm Beach County is joining the Manatron family,” said Bill McKinzie, Manatron President and CEO. “Florida is a key market for Manatron and we continue to invest heavily in our products and services in order to provide our clients with the best possible solutions. Through our partnership with the Palm Beach County Tax Collector’s Office, Manatron will introduce GRM Tax to Florida, which will then become the natural upgrade for our current client base in the years to come.”
“With each contract, our business plan regarding our GRM product line continues to be validated,” commented Early Stephens, Manatron Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy. “Leading jurisdictions throughout the U.S. and internationally are choosing GRM and view the solution as an important tool for creating a more responsive and efficient government agency. We are excited to team with the Palm Beach County Tax Collector’s Office to help them achieve their ambitious goals.”
